As a kid every time it snows outside you hope the next morning your parents get a phone call saying "there will be no school today due to the snow." That goes on all the way to high school.
Once you get into college there usually no snow days regardless how bad it is. This morning I woke up with an amazing text saying "Campus will be closed due to the snow today starting at 6 am." That never happens so when I saw that I fell back to sleep until 11.
As a kid you do not go back to bed. You play in the snow with your neighbors, have snowball fights or build snowmen. As a college student I went back to bed woke up and played video games. After a while I made some food and did some homework.
Like all guys who like football my roommates and neighbors played snow football. There is something about snow football that makes you miss playing in the snow as a kid. You can dive in the snow for a catch. After making that catch you feel like Calvin Johnson with the snow all over you.
Another good thing about playing football in the snow with your friends you can actually play tackle football. You feel like a professional football player playing in a snow game. It brings back child hood memories.
Snow football will always be one of the best activities to do with your friends because you feel like a pro and you go all out.
