George Springer Hits His Biggest Hit As a Blue Jay.

GEORGE FUCKING SPRINGER. MAMA THERE GOES THAT MAN! 15,000 fans sounding like 50,000. That was the biggest victory of the year hell, the biggest victory in five years, and it did not come easy. Our Ace Hyun Jin Ryu didn't have it today and a win did not look possible, but the best lineup in baseball begged to differ. It was 7-2 at one point and I was convinced the game was over. The Jays started chipping away but, each time they did that, the Red Sox's kept answering. In the 8th inning all that changed. There were two base runners on two outs down by two George Springer was up vs his old college teammate. I knew the moment was not too big for him and he did too. Springer absolutely crushed this ball and gave the Blue Jays the lead. Goosebumps were all over my body as soon as he hit the ball. He knew it right off the bat and pimped that shit. It was awesome.

To all the haters out there, you can suck it. I forgive George Springer for his actions with the Houston Astros. Other people might but I'm 1000 percent positive if he was on your favorite team you would forgive him too.

This is just year one of his six-year 150 million dollar contract with the Jays and we've only seen him perform at this elite level for a quarter of the season because he was hurt for the first half. This is the start of Springer's legacy with the Toronto Blue Jays and this was his welcome to Toronto moment. I can't wait for more Springer moments in Toronto as he leads us back to the Playoffs.
