Here Come The Blue Jays

A MASSIVE win for the Blue Jays, as they were able to get to Gerrit Cole early, who would eventually leave the game with an injury. This is the game Blue Jays fans were fine with losing. Me being one of them. I thought okay we will probably lose to Cole, that's fine let's take three out four. The Blue Jays decided they had other plans. The Blue Jays won 5-1 thanks to Alejandro Kirk and Marcus Semien. Kirk had two home runs, and one of Cole even. Marcus Semien keeps on showing us why he is the hottest player in all of baseball. Six home runs in six games, get out of here. The Blue Jays are now only two games back of both wild card spots and have a chance to gain more ground with Jose Berrios and Alek Manoah on the mound to finish the series against the Yankees.

The Blue Jays are on fire right now and boy, did they ever find a time to catch fire at the right time. Winners of nine of their last 10. The Blue jays have won six games in a row. The team is buzzing right now. On the other hand, the Yankees, Red Sox's, and A's are struggling. The Blue Jays have a lot of winnable series coming up down the stretch that they can't afford to lose those.

The Blue Jays have drawn me back into thinking they have a legit chance of going on a run. Only two games back anyone can do that so, why can't we. The pitching has been outstanding lately, there have not been any screw-ups from the bullpen and the Jays have been smashing the ball lately. Once a team gets into the playoffs anything can happen. Remember the Cardinals from 2011 or even the Nationals in 2019. It's all about getting hot at the right time and letting that momentum carry over. The Blue Jays need to have that "why not us energy" for the rest of the season.

The 2021 season is back on. I don't know how the season will end, but I have a feeling it's going to be fun.
