Illinois Got Killed Last Night But It's Not The End of The World

Illinois got their ass kicked in the second half last night against Purdue. Illinois could not get a stop to save their life it seemed like and could not score. It is not the end of the world. Illinois is in a three way tie for first in the Big 10. Illinois also had a gauntlet of a schedule last week with playing Wisconsin who was ranked 11 and at Indiana which, is a hard place to play. So, only losing one in that stretch is not bad at all.

The way Illinois played last night, they're not going to win many games at all. Trent Frazier only made one shot, Da'Monte Williams only made one shot, and Jacob Grandison shot 3-8 but only made one three. Bad games happen. I am sure these guys will bounce back next game.

Another positive to look at last night is Trent Frazier's health. To me, the way he was reacting I thought he tore his ACL. Thank god it was not that because he did come back in and play. Without Frazier, we would be fucked.

I feel bad for Northwestern. Illinois plays them next on February 13, and Coach Underwood is going to be on the team's ass during practice. I fully expect Illinois to come out and beat Northwestern by 20.

Illinois will be fine. I am ready for a third game against Purdue in the Big 10 tournament at a neutral spot.
