Illinois wins a close game against Ohio State. This win pretty much gives us a lock for a number one seed whenever the NCAA tournament comes around.
This is an exciting time as an Illinois fan. This is the first time Illinois will be in March madness since 2013. Overall, Illinois came a long way from when Brad Underwood took over.
It is always exciting to beat Ohio State. I hate everything about them in every sport. The only person I like who is from Ohio State is Nick Bosa. Ohio State fans are annoying and to squash them on their home court and lock up the number one seed is just special.
Masked Ayo is awesome. That is all I have to say. He looks like batman, at the end of the game, he got us to victory when he made his and-one layup to take the lead. That shot was massive for the Illini. The most important shot came from Da’monte Williams. Williams hit a three-pointer to tie the game late in the second half.
Williams is the best glue guy in the country. He does it all. He blocks shots, rebounds, steals, and assists. When Illinois needed him most, he delivers even if it does not show up on the stat sheet.
I am very excited about this March Madness run. I believe Illinois can win It all. They will be in a bracket of their own, and they control their destiny. This team can beat anyone in the nation. I truly believe that.
