The third Ball brother, the forgotten one LiAngelo Ball, is getting his chance to make the NBA as the Charlotte Hornets are giving him an opportunity in the Summer League. Obviously, this is coming because his brother Melo is the face of the Hornets. They did the same thing with Caleb and Cody Martin. LiAngelo has been trying to make the NBA since he dropped out of UCLA because he got arrested in China. This is the best shot he has gotten so far. If Gelo ends up making the NBA or even the G-Leauge, I would expect to hear more of Lavar again with Lonzo getting paid, Melo winning rookie of the year then Gelo finally breaking through and getting a chance. Gelo hasn't been heard of lately since signing a non-guaranteed contract with the Pistons just for clout. ESPN is probably sick to their stomach right now as they do not have the greatest relationship with Lavar Ball and he gets to say "I told you so." It would be so funny if he is wearing his signature shoes in these games and Lavar tries to sell them again. I hope Gelo plays well in the summer league and gets a chance somewhere. It is always really cool to see a group of brothers fulfill their dreams of playing in the NBA together.
