WOW! What a blockbuster trade for the Blue Jays. Maybe Ross Atkins can go to Tim Hortons and buy one single donut.

Axford is 38-years-old and, was in Triple-A all season posting a .078 era this year. Axford signed with the Blue Jays after playing with team Canada and spent the whole season in triple-A. Axford is familiar with Milwaukee, he has spent 4 seasons there before and is 2nd on the Brewers for all-time saves. Now he will be remembered as the guy who got traded for a dollar. Unless Axford is terrible and he gets cut by the Brewers, the Blue Jays won this trade.

This trade happened after the deadline because Axford was not on a major league roster. Arguably this was the best trade of all time. One single dollar. There are not many things you can buy for a dollar, but I guess you can trade a player for a dollar. Why even trade him just cut him at that point I was trying to think of ways how this one dollar can positively affect the team sometime in the future but, I can't think of anything at all.

Here is a list of things you can buy for a dollar: 1. McDonald's soda

2. A scratch-off ticket

3. Taco Bell

4. A single postage stamp

5. Pack of gum.
