The Blue Jays Invading Seattle Is One Of The Coolest Things In Sports

Normally at away games, the home crowd outnumbers the away crowd. When The Blue Jays go out west and play the Mariners that all changes. The Blue Jays are the best team in Canada (also the only team in Canada.) So when a 38-hour car ride from Vancouver to Toronto can get replace by a two hour and thirty minute car ride, you bet your ass T-Mobile Field is filled with Jays fans.

When the ball left the bat, the crowd went bananas! You can barely see any green in the stands. You only see blue out there. It is rare to see a home-field advantage get swapped so easily. If I am a Mariner's season ticket holder, I am questioning even going to this series. I would upcharge the hell out of the tickets and sell them to Blue Jays fans. There is not a doubt in my mind those Western Canadians would pay top dollar to see their Jays perform.

This series definitely goes unnoticed by ESPN. I never hear a thing about how the Blue Jays invade Seattle. In every state, there is baseball I would never expect the Canadian national anthem to be louder than America's national anthem. I have been to a lot of sporting events and watched a lot of sporting events. Never have I heard any national anthem be sung that loud by the crowd.

This series is coming at the perfect time for the Blue Jays right now. The Blue Jays have been on the road for the last four games. The Jays are 2.5 spots back of the second wild card. The Mariners are right behind them with 5.5 games back. Instead of a regular road game, this is the Blue Jay's second home. The fans showing support on the road can give the Blue Jays the support they need to beat the Mariners.
