The Bluejays Lose Another Series

It seems to be if the Bluejays are not playing the Yankees, they can not win a series. Out of the six series they have played in, they have lost four.

This is the 16th game the Bluejays have played in a row. It does not surprise me that they have lost the last few. Luckily the Bluejays have their first break in the season as they will not play on Monday.

In the next series, the Bluejays will be playing the Red Sox in a big two-game division series. Hopefully, this break in the action will give them time to rest up and figure their shit out. These next two games are huge as they can make the Bluejays have a .500 record again.

It is still early in the season to panic but, I would be lying if I were to say I was not a little nervous or frustrated. It is either one or the other where the Bluejays can hit everything in sight or they can't hit at all. There is rarely any in-between. For the most part, the pitching has been solid. Surprisingly the Bluejays Bullpen has the best ERA in all of baseball posting a 2.05 ERA.

The thing that is pissing me off the most about this team is the injuries. There is nothing you can do about injuries are a part of the game. The Bluejays haven't even seen George Springer play a game as a Bluejay which, is very frustrating. Pitchers in the bullpen keep dropping off like flies and, the silver slugger winner last year, Teoscar Hernadez, has COVID.

There is still plenty of baseball left. It would be nice to beat someone else in a series besides the Yankees. Hopefully, the Bluejays can get back on track soon.
