The Blue Jays hit a lot of home runs against the Yankees. There is not much the Blue Jays can do about it, they're just following the tradition they made in the middle of the season. The Yankees announcers will have to keep seeing the jacket as the Blue Jays and Yankees play three more times this year.
These complaints are coming from the same guys who say's, "THERE SHE GOESSSSSS SEEE YA." Maybe the worst home run call in all of baseball. If I had to choose between watching the game on mute or with the Yankees play by play, I would choose mute. They're annoying as shit. They cry about a home run jacket. The Yankees have bigger issues than worrying about a celebration the Blue Jays do when they hit a home run.
By the way, they made those comments right after Bo Bichette had one of the cleanest bat flips of the year.
