Rowdy Tellez is the Toronto Bluejays DH. When you are the DH you are supposed to be a threat to hit the ball. Tellez was 0-21 entering the ninth game of the season. Before the ninth game against the Yankees Tellez goes up to Vladimir Guerrero Jr, and asks if he can bless his bat.
Vladdy kisses Tallez's bat. Then on Tallez's first at-bat of the game, he gets a single.
Then the next day Tellez hits his first home run of the season. Vladdy absolutely gave the bat superpowers.
I was getting really worried about Tallez being in the lineup as he kept struggling. Now that he has a hit and a home run hopefully, he can get on track and get a couple of hits a game
The Bluejays look to close the series against the Yankees today hopefully, Tellez has an impact again.
