And who did he hit off? Only the three-time CY Young winner Max Scherzer of course.
The 22-year-old has five homers and 16 RBI. Not to mention he is getting on base. Vladdy's average is .338 which, is 12th in the MLB ad his ops is 1.035 which, is seventh in the MLB. This is what all Blue Jays fans wanted to see from him when he got called up to the MLB.
Whenever Vladdy has made contact with the ball he has hit it so well. When the Jays played the Royals, he hit a 450 foot bomb and, it was 112.8 off the bat. Find me someone else who is doing that.
As well as Vladdy is doing on the offensive end his transition over to first base has been amazing. He has been saving throw after throw whether it is in the dirt or a little wide. This was a big question mark when he made the switch over from third base.
The Blue Jays are only supposed to get better from here. Adding George Springer will be massive. Silver slugger Teoscar Hernandez is coming back from Covid-19. The Jays might have one of the best offensive line up in all of baseball.
