Yes, everyone in the world hates Jimmy Garoppolo as the 49ers quarterback and wants the 49ers to move on from him. Here is the one positive if they do trade him. They would not lose much money at all if they trade him and, you would get a younger cheaper QB.
Here is why you do not trade him and, you build around him. I will start with the draft. The 49ers can do many things with this pick. We could trade back a few picks and get some future 1st round picks.
Another possibility is to draft Northwestern offensive line, Rashawn Slater. Even though Slater is a tackle, he said he was open to moving to guard. The 49ers could slide him in at right guard and have a very dominant line. Everyone knows the game is won in the trenches.
The reason we draft an offensive lineman because keeping Jimmy protected should be priority number one. Why did Jimmy get hurt last year? Oh yeah, because the offensive line did not protect him well at the beginning of the season. Draft an offensive lineman and let him sling the rock to all the weapons the 49ers have. We have George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Brandon Ayuik for receiving weapons. Don't forget who calls the plays to get these people open.
To everyone who wants to draft a quarterback, I will tell you why we do not need one. Jimmy is a winner. Jimmy is 26-9 as a starter. It is just simple we win when Jimmy is on the field. I am very aware that his being on the field is his biggest issue. I will give him a pass this year on his high ankle sprain because everyone 49ers player got hurt this year.
Another reason why we keep Jimmy is that his leadership and chemistry with the locker room. 49ers players have been defending him all year about how he can take them back to the Super Bowl. Do people forget that he was in the super bowl? I do not want to hear any of that bull shit that he lost the game either. The whole team collapsed.
Jimmy can ball too. Look at the year we went to the Super Bowl. He had the same stats as the wonder boy Deshaun Watson. Here are Watson's stats. 3,852 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Now Jimmy Garoppolo stats are 3, 978 yards 27 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
Also, if Jimmy is not good why, does Bill Belichick want him so bad?
Jimmy is good. I do not know why he is disrespected by washed-up NFL players who now work at ESPN. Maybe they should look in the mirror before they trash my boy.
The 49ers do not need a quarterback they have proved they can win with Jimmy.
